The Whittier House Community Support Program offers an array of community support activities and services for individuals receiving waiver type:
 Section 21 and 29 funding, procedural code: T2021.
 
We are headquartered in Auburn, Maine less than 10 minutes from the turnpike.


Potential weekend and evening programming will be developed if participation warrants. Programming will be concentrated in the community and driven by the goals and service needs of each individual served. There will be an evolving calendar of daily events offered for participants to sign up for in advance. 

Programming includes, but is not limited to:
Library | Meals on Wheels | Good Shepard Food Bank | swimming, hiking | bowling | shopping | out to eat | volunteering | gym | walking trails | outdoor photography | SPCA | fishing | water sports | agriculture & horticulture

The Whittier House Community Support Program staff are skilled with working with consumers who present a range of behavioral challenges. Many of our highly trained staff have years of experience working with intensely challenging behaviors and administering Severely Intrusive Plans in community settings. With the growing demand for community services for behavioral consumers, the Whittier House is an ideal resource to connect them to their community.
